Tim is a cat that likes the great outdoors and when he came back limping one morning his owners thought he once again got injured defending his territory.
He was in considerable pain and extremely reluctant to move his front leg and - completely out of character for him - tried to bite when veterinary surgeon Adele examined him.
He was x-rayed immediately, but instead of the expected broken bone we found this:
Tim's front leg was completely separated from his body, and apart from this muscular tear, there was no other injury!
"Tim" went home on strict house rest and anti-inflammatories and made a good recovery.
Whatever he did to end up with such an unusual injury will always remain his secret and a mystery to us...
