A Cornishman by birth, Peter qualified at the University of Bristol in 1982.
He worked in a variety of practices in the South West of England dealing with all species of animals until moving to Jersey with his wife Laura in 1992. Since then most of his time has been spent running our Sommet Vert clinic at St Brelade.
In addition to the routine day-to-day work, Peter has pursued his interest in small animal surgery, and has amassed a great deal of experience, particularly in orthopaedics (bone and joint surgery). He also has an interest in cardiology (heart disease). Peter particularly values the fact that in a small practice, it is possible to get to know clients and their pets personally, and follow their progress down the years.
Outside work, his young family and pets (cat, dogs, sheep, chickens and guinea pigs) occupy most of his time, but he can occasionally be heard in local churches playing the organ.
